개성공업지구 지원에 관한 법률 제2조(정의)

1. "개성공업지구"란 남한과 북한 사이의 합의에 따라서 북한의 개성지역 일대에서 개발ㆍ조성된 공업지구를 말한다.

2. "개성공업지구 개발업자"란 「남북교류협력에 관한 법률」에 따른 협력사업의 승인을 받아 북한의 「개성공업지구법」에 따라 개발업자로 지정된 남한주민을 말한다.

3. "개성공업지구 관리기관"이란 개성공업지구의 관리ㆍ운영을 위하여 북한의 「개성공업지구법」에 따라 설립된 법인을 말한다.

4. "개성공업지구 현지기업"이란 남한주민이 「남북교류협력에 관한 법률」에 따른 협력사업의 승인을 받거나 신고의 수리를 받아 개성공업지구에 설립한 기업(지사ㆍ영업소ㆍ사무소를 포함한다)을 말한다.

4의2. "개성공업지구 투자기업"이란 남한주민이 「남북교류협력에 관한 법률」에 따른 협력사업의 승인을 받거나 신고 수리를 받아 개성공업지구에 투자한 국내 모기업 중 대통령령으로 정하는 중소기업을 말한다.

5. "출입" 또는 "체류"란 「개성공업지구와 금강산관광지구의 출입 및 체류에 관한 합의서」에서 정의한 바에 따른다.
