개인정보 보호법 제7조의3(위원장)

① 위원장은 보호위원회를 대표하고, 보호위원회의 회의를 주재하며, 소관 사무를 총괄한다.

② 위원장이 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 부위원장이 그 직무를 대행하고, 위원장ㆍ부위원장이 모두 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 위원회가 미리 정하는 위원이 위원장의 직무를 대행한다.

(2) If이^f프 the^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 is이즈 unable어네이블 to투 perform퍼^f폼 his히즈 or오 her허 duties두티즈 for^f포 unavoidable어너^v보이더블 reasons,^r리즌즈 the^ð더 Vice^v바이스 Chairperson체어퍼슨 shall섈 act액트 on안 his히즈 or오 her허 behalf;비해^f프 if이^f프 both보우^θ스 the^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 and앤드 the^ð더 Vice^v바이스 Chairperson체어퍼슨 are아 unable어네이블 to투 perform퍼^f폼 their^ð데어 duties두티즈 for^f포 unavoidable어너^v보이더블 reasons,^r리즌즈 a어 member멤버 designated데지그네이티드 in인 advance어드^v밴스 by바이 the^ð더 Commission커미션 shall섈 act액트 on안 behalf비해^f프 of어^v브 the^ð더 Chairperson.체어퍼슨

③ 위원장은 국회에 출석하여 보호위원회의 소관 사무에 관하여 의견을 진술할 수 있으며, 국회에서 요구하면 출석하여 보고하거나 답변하여야 한다.

(3) The^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 may메이 attend어텐드 the^ð더 National내셔늘 Assembly어셈블리 and앤드 state스테잇 opinions어피니언즈 on안 the^ð디 affairs어^f페어즈 under언더 the^ð더 jurisdiction주^r러스딕션 of어^v브 the^ð더 Protection프^r러텍션 Commission,커미션 and앤드 shall섈 attend어텐드 and앤드 report^r리포트 or오 answer앤서 questions퀘스천즈 if이^f프 requested^r리퀘스티드 by바이 the^ð더 National내셔늘 Assembly.어셈블리

④ 위원장은 국무회의에 출석하여 발언할 수 있으며, 그 소관 사무에 관하여 국무총리에게 의안 제출을 건의할 수 있다.

(4) The^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 may메이 attend어텐드 and앤드 speak스픽 at앳 meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 State스테잇 Council,카운슬 and앤드 may메이 propose프^r러포우즈 to투 the^ð더 Prime프^r라임 Minister미너스터 that^ð댓 a어 bill빌 be비 submitted서브미티드 on안 affairs어^f페어즈 under언더 his히즈 or오 her허 jurisdiction.주^r러스딕션
