공공외교법 시행령 제6조(위원회의 운영)

① 위원장은 위원회를 대표하고, 위원회의 업무를 총괄한다.

② 위원장이 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 위원장이 미리 지명한 위원이 그 직무를 대행한다.

(2) Where웨어 the^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 is이즈 unable어네이블 to투 perform퍼^f폼 his히즈 or오 her허 duties두티즈 due두 to투 unavoidable어너^v보이더블 circumstances,서컴스탠시즈 a어 member멤버 designated데지그네이티드 in인 advance어드^v밴스 by바이 the^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 shall섈 act액트 on안 his히즈 or오 her허 behalf.비해^f프

③ 위원장은 회의를 소집하려는 경우에는 회의 개최 7일 전까지 회의의 일시ㆍ장소 및 안건을 위원에게 서면으로 통보하여야 한다. 다만, 긴급히 개최하여야 하거나 부득이한 사유가 있는 경우에는 회의 개최 전날까지 통보할 수 있다.

④ 위원회의 회의는 제4조제1항에 따른 위원 과반수의 출석으로 개의(開議)하고, 출석위원 과반수의 찬성으로 의결한다.

⑤ 위원회는 안건 심의와 그 밖에 위원회 관련 업무 수행을 위하여 필요하다고 인정하는 경우에는 이해관계인 또는 관련 전문가를 회의에 출석하게 하여 의견을 듣거나 의견 제출을 요청할 수 있다.

⑥ 위원회의 회의는 위원이 동영상 및 음성이 동시에 송수신되는 장치가 갖추어진 서로 다른 장소에 출석하여 진행하는 원격영상회의 방식으로 할 수 있다. 이 경우 해당 위원은 동일한 회의장에 출석한 것으로 본다.
