과학기술인공제회법 제16조의6(과학기술발전장려금)

① 공제회는 회원이 퇴직하여 퇴직연금급여를 받게 되는 경우 퇴직연금급여 외에 별도로 과학기술발전장려금을 지급할 수 있다.

② 제1항의 과학기술발전장려금(이하 "과학기술발전장려금"이라 한다)은 과학기술발전장려금 지급을 위한 정부나 그 밖의 자의 출연금의 운영수익을 회원별로 적립하여 지급하며, 퇴직연금급여사업을 위한 재원(財源)과 분리하여 관리ㆍ운영하여야 한다.

③ 제2항에 따른 정부 출연금의 운영수익을 적립하여 과학기술발전장려금을 지급하는 경우에는 다음 각 호의 사람을 대상으로 지급하여야 한다. <개정 2014.5.28>

④ 과학기술발전장려금의 적립기준은 매년 제16조의7에 따른 연금심의위원회의 심의를 거쳐 정하되, 회원별 적립액은 회원의 연간 임금총액의 1천분의 25를 넘지 아니하여야 한다.

⑤ 제2항에 따른 운영수익의 연간 총액이 제4항에 따른 회원별 적립액의 합계를 넘는 경우 그 초과수익은 과학기술발전장려금의 지급을 위한 재원에 포함하여 운영하여야 한다.

⑥ 공제회는 매 사업연도가 끝난 후 3개월 이내에 과학기술정보통신부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 과학기술발전장려금 적립 및 지급 등 운영 실적을 과학기술정보통신부장관에게 제출하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26>
