국민기초생활 보장법 제24조(차상위계층에 대한 조사)

① 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 급여의 종류별 수급자 선정기준의 변경 등에 의하여 수급권자의 범위가 변동함에 따라 다음 연도에 이 법에 따른 급여가 필요할 것으로 예측되는 수급권자의 규모를 조사하기 위하여 보건복지부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 차상위계층에 대하여 조사할 수 있다. <개정 2014.12.30>

② 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 제1항에 따른 조사를 하려는 경우 조사대상자의 동의를 받아야 한다. 이 경우 조사대상자의 동의는 다음 연도의 급여신청으로 본다. <개정 2014.12.30>

③ 조사대상자의 자료제출, 조사의 위촉, 관련 전산망의 이용, 그 밖에 차상위계층에 대한 조사를 위하여 필요한 사항에 관하여는 제22조제2항부터 제7항까지의 규정을 준용한다.
