국제연합 평화유지활동 참여에 관한 법률 제13조(불이익 처분의 금지 및 신분 보장)

① 누구든지 참여요원 또는 참여요원이었던 자에게 평화유지활동 참여를 이유로 불이익한 처분을 하여서는 아니 된다.

② 평화유지활동에 참여하는 공무원(현역 군인 및 경찰을 포함한다)은 파견기간 중 평화유지활동 참여요원으로서의 신분과 대한민국 공무원으로서의 신분을 동시에 보유하는 것으로 본다.

③ 평화유지활동에 참여하는 대한민국 국적의 민간인은 국제평화 안전유지요원으로서의 신분과 대한민국 국민으로서의 신분을 동시에 보유하며, 국제법상 가능한 모든 보호를 받는다.
