국제협력요원 제도 폐지에 따른 순직 심사 등에 관한 법률 제5조(국제협력요원 순직 심사의 청구 및 결정)

① 순직 국제협력요원으로 인정을 받고자 하는 경우 그 유족은 외교부장관에게 순직 심사를 청구하여야 한다.

② 제1항에 따른 순직 심사를 청구하는 유족은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 관련 증빙서류를 첨부하고, 한국국제협력단 이사장의 확인을 받아 청구하여야 한다.

③ 제1항에 따른 청구를 받은 외교부장관은 위원회의 심의를 거쳐 사망한 국제협력요원의 순직 여부를 결정한다.

④ 제1항부터 제3항까지에서 규정한 사항 외에 순직 심사의 청구, 결정의 방법 및 절차 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
