군무원인사법 제45조(근무기간을 정하여 임용하는 일반군무원 등)

① 임용권자는 전문 지식ㆍ기술이 요구되거나 임용 관리에 특수성이 요구되는 업무를 담당하게 하기 위하여 일반군무원을 임용할 때에 일정기간을 정하여 근무하는 군무원(이하 "임기제일반군무원"이라 한다)을 임용할 수 있다.

② 임기제일반군무원에 대해서는 이 법 또는 다른 법률에 특별한 규정이 없으면 제15조(승진), 제18조(위탁교육자 등의 복무), 제30조(강임), 제31조(정년) 및 제32조(정년퇴직)를 적용하지 아니한다.

③ 임기제일반군무원은 「국가공무원법」 제26조의5에 따른 임기제공무원으로 본다. 다만, 임기제일반군무원의 임용요건, 임용절차, 근무상한연령 및 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
