극지활동 진흥법 제3조(정의)

1. "남극"이란 남위 60도 이남의 육지ㆍ빙붕(氷棚: 육상의 얼음과 연결되어 바다에 떠 있는 규모가 큰 얼음덩어리를 말한다. 이하 같다) 및 수역과 그 상공을 말한다.
