기상법 제33조(국제협력의 추진)

① 기상청장은 기상업무 관련 국제기구 및 다른 국가와의 협력을 통하여 다음 각 호의 업무 등을 추진하며, 기상업무 분야의 기술발전을 위한 국제적 노력에 적극 참여하여야 한다. <개정 2011.9.30>

② 기상청장은 남북한 간 기상업무의 상호교류 및 협력을 증진할 수 있도록 노력하여야 한다.

③ 기상청장은 예산의 범위에서 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 협력사업을 추진하는 데에 필요한 비용의 전부 또는 일부를 지원할 수 있다.

(3) Within위^ð딘 the^ð더 budget,버짓 the^ð디 Administrator어드미너스트^r레이터 of어^v브 the^ð더 Korea코^r리아 Meteorological미티오^r럴라지클 Administration애드미니스트^r레이션 may메이 subsidize서브시다이즈 all올 or오 part파트 of어^v브 the^ð더 costs카스츠 necessary네서세^r리 for^f포 promoting프^r러모우팅 the^ð더 cooperative코아퍼^r레이티^v브 projects프^r라젝츠 under언더 paragraphs패^r러그^r래^f프스 (1) and앤드 (2).

④ 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 국제협력 및 남북협력의 대상ㆍ추진방안 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
