다문화가족지원법 제6조(생활정보 제공 및 교육 지원)

① 국가와 지방자치단체는 결혼이민자등이 대한민국에서 생활하는데 필요한 기본적 정보(아동ㆍ청소년에 대한 학습 및 생활지도 관련 정보를 포함한다)를 제공하고, 사회적응교육과 직업교육ㆍ훈련 및 언어소통 능력 향상을 위한 한국어교육 등을 받을 수 있도록 필요한 지원을 할 수 있다. <개정 2011.4.4, 2016.3.2>

② 국가와 지방자치단체는 결혼이민자등의 배우자 및 가족구성원이 결혼이민자등의 출신 국가 및 문화 등을 이해하는 데 필요한 기본적 정보를 제공하고 관련 교육을 지원할 수 있다. <신설 2017.12.12>

③ 국가와 지방자치단체는 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 교육을 실시함에 있어 거주지 및 가정환경 등으로 인하여 서비스에서 소외되는 결혼이민자등과 배우자 및 그 가족구성원이 없도록 방문교육이나 원격교육 등 다양한 방법으로 교육을 지원하고, 교재와 강사 등의 전문성을 강화하기 위한 시책을 수립ㆍ시행하여야 한다. <신설 2011.4.4, 2017.12.12>

④ 국가와 지방자치단체는 제3항의 방문교육의 비용을 결혼이민자등의 가구 소득수준, 교육의 종류 등 성평등가족부장관이 정하여 고시하는 기준에 따라 차등지원할 수 있다. <신설 2015.12.1, 2017.12.12, 2025.10.1>

⑤ 국가와 지방자치단체가 제4항에 따른 비용을 지원함에 있어 비용 지원의 신청, 금융정보 등의 제공, 조사ㆍ질문 등은 「아이돌봄 지원법」 제22조부터 제25조까지의 규정을 준용한다. <신설 2015.12.1, 2017.12.12>

⑥ 결혼이민자등의 배우자 등 다문화가족 구성원은 결혼이민자등이 한국어교육 등 사회적응에 필요한 다양한 교육을 받을 수 있도록 노력하여야 한다. <신설 2015.12.1, 2017.12.12>
