보호소년 등의 처우에 관한 법률 시행령 제20조(사고발생 보고)

① 원장은 보호소년등의 사망, 이탈, 난동, 그 밖의 중대한 사고가 발생하면 지체 없이 법무부장관에게 보고하여야 한다.

② 원장은 조사ㆍ심리(審理)를 받고 있는 위탁소년 또는 항고 중의 보호소년이 사망하거나 이탈한 경우 또는 이탈한 보호소년등을 재수용한 경우에는 지체 없이 그 사실을 사건이 계류되어 있는 법원에 통지하여야 한다.
