스카우트활동 육성에 관한 법률 제2조(정의)

이 법에서 "스카우트활동"이란 스카우트교육방법에 따라 청소년의 품성을 닦아 기르고 체력을 증진시키며 유용한 기능을 익혀 사회에 헌신하는 봉사정신을 기름으로써 국가 발전에 공헌하고 나아가서는 세계 인류의 친선을 증진하는 데 이바지하게 하는 활동을 말한다.
