유실물법 시행령 제1조(습득물의 제출)

①유실물법(이하 "법"이라 한다) 제1조제1항의 규정에 의한 습득물은 별지 제1호서식에 의한 신고서와 함께 당해 물건을 습득한 장소를 관할하는 경찰서(지구대ㆍ파출소ㆍ출장소를 포함한다. 이하 같다) 또는 제주특별자치도의 자치경찰단 사무소(이하 "자치경찰단"이라 한다)에 제출하여야 한다. 다만, 특별한 사유가 있을 때에는 습득한 장소에서 가까운 경찰서 또는 자치경찰단에 제출할 수 있다. <개정 1996.10.28, 2006.6.29>

②경찰서장 또는 제주특별자치도지사는 별지 제1호의2서식에 의한 보관증을 당해 습득물의 제출자에게 교부하여야 한다. <개정 1996.10.28, 2006.6.29>

③제2항의 보관증을 받은 자가 이를 분실하였을 때에는 즉시 그 일시ㆍ장소 및 경위를 보관증을 교부받은 경찰서 또는 자치경찰단에 신고하여야 한다. <개정 1996.10.28, 2006.6.29>
