정치자금법 제18조(불법후원금의 반환)

후원회의 회계책임자는 후원인으로부터 기부받은 후원금이 이 법 또는 다른 법률에 위반되는 청탁 또는 불법의 후원금이라는 사실을 안 날부터 30일 이내에 후원인에게 반환하고, 정치자금영수증을 교부하였을 때에는 이를 회수하여야 한다. 이 경우 후원인의 주소 등 연락처를 알지 못하여 반환할 수 없거나 후원인이 수령을 거절하는 때에는 선거관리위원회를 통하여 이를 국고에 귀속시켜야 한다.
