지방자치법 제211조(다른 법률과의 관계)

① 다른 법률에서 지방자치단체 또는 지방자치단체의 장을 인용하고 있는 경우에는 제202조제1항에 따른 규약으로 정하는 사무를 처리하기 위한 범위에서는 특별지방자치단체 또는 특별지방자치단체의 장을 인용한 것으로 본다.

② 다른 법률에서 시ㆍ도 또는 시ㆍ도지사를 인용하고 있는 경우에는 제202조제1항에 따른 규약으로 정하는 사무를 처리하기 위한 범위에서는 시ㆍ도, 시ㆍ도와 시ㆍ군 및 자치구 또는 2개 이상의 시ㆍ도에 걸쳐 있는 시ㆍ군 및 자치구로 구성하는 특별지방자치단체 또는 특별지방자치단체의 장을 인용한 것으로 본다.

③ 다른 법률에서 시ㆍ군 및 자치구 또는 시장ㆍ군수 및 자치구의 구청장을 인용하고 있는 경우에는 제202조제1항에 따른 규약으로 정하는 사무를 처리하기 위한 범위에서는 동일한 시ㆍ도 관할 구역의 시ㆍ군 및 자치구로 구성하는 특별지방자치단체 또는 특별지방자치단체의 장을 인용한 것으로 본다.
