청소년 보호법 제39조(위원의 임기)

① 위원의 임기는 2년으로 하며, 연임할 수 있다. 다만, 당연직 위원의 임기는 그 재임기간으로 한다. <개정 2018.12.18>

② 당연직 위원이 아닌 위원에 결원이 생겼을 때에는 결원된 날부터 30일 이내에 보궐위원을 임명하거나 위촉하여야 하며, 보궐위원의 임기는 전임자 임기의 남은 기간으로 한다. 다만, 전임자 임기의 남은 기간이 3개월 미만이고 재임 중인 위원의 수가 8명 이상인 경우에는 보궐위원을 선임하지 아니할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.22>
