축산법 제17조(수정소의 개설신고 등)

①정액 또는 수정란을 암가축에 주입 또는 이식하는 업을 영위하기 위하여 가축 인공수정소[(家畜 人工授精所), 자동차 등 이동 수단을 활용하는 경우 그 자동차 등 이동 수단을 포함한다. 이하 "수정소"라 한다)를 개설하려는 자는 그에 필요한 시설 및 인력을 갖추어 수정소의 소재지(자동차 등 이동 수단을 활용하는 경우에는 수정소를 개설하려는 자의 주소를 소재지로 한다)를 관할하는 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장에게 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2026.3.31>

② 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장은 제1항에 따른 신고를 받은 경우 그 내용을 검토하여 이 법에 적합하면 신고를 수리하여야 한다. <신설 2019.8.27>

③제1항에 따른 수정소의 시설 및 인력에 관한 기준과 그 밖에 신고에 필요한 사항은 농림축산식품부령으로 정한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2019.8.27>

④제1항에 따라 수정소의 개설을 신고한 자(이하 "수정소개설자"라 한다)가 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하면 그 사유가 발생한 날부터 30일 이내에 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장에게 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2019.8.27>
