형법 제172조(폭발성물건파열)

①보일러, 고압가스 기타 폭발성있는 물건을 파열시켜 사람의 생명, 신체 또는 재산에 대하여 위험을 발생시킨 자는 1년 이상의 유기징역에 처한다.

②제1항의 죄를 범하여 사람을 상해에 이르게 한 때에는 무기 또는 3년 이상의 징역에 처한다. 사망에 이르게 한 때에는 무기 또는 5년 이상의 징역에 처한다.
