119구조ㆍ구급에 관한 법률 제9조(국제구조대의 편성과 운영)

① 소방청장은 국외에서 대형재난 등이 발생한 경우 재외국민의 보호 또는 재난발생국의 국민에 대한 인도주의적 구조 활동을 위하여 국제구조대를 편성하여 운영할 수 있다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

② 소방청장은 외교부장관과 협의를 거쳐 제1항에 따른 국제구조대를 재난발생국에 파견할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

③ 소방청장은 제1항에 따른 국제구조대를 국외에 파견할 것에 대비하여 구조대원에 대한 교육훈련 등을 실시할 수 있다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

④ 소방청장은 제1항에 따른 국제구조대의 국외재난대응능력을 향상시키기 위하여 국제연합 등 관련 국제기구와의 협력체계 구축, 해외재난정보의 수집 및 기술연구 등을 위한 시책을 추진할 수 있다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

⑤ 소방청장은 제2항에 따라 국제구조대를 재난발생국에 파견하기 위하여 필요한 경우 관계 중앙행정기관의 장 또는 시ㆍ도지사에게 직원의 파견 및 장비의 지원을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 관계 중앙행정기관의 장 또는 시ㆍ도지사는 특별한 사유가 없으면 요청에 따라야 한다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

⑥ 제1항부터 제5항까지의 규정에 따른 국제구조대의 편성, 파견, 교육훈련 및 국제구조대원의 귀국 후 건강관리와 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
