공무원 재해보상법 제56조(기관장의 확인)

① 기관장은 이 법에 따른 급여사유의 발생에 필요한 이력사항과 그 밖에 공무원이거나 공무원이었던 사람의 신분에 관한 사항을 확인하여야 한다.

② 기관장은 제1항에 따른 확인사무를 집행하기 위하여 필요하면 공무원이거나 공무원이었던 사람, 그 밖의 관계인에게 자료의 제출 또는 의견 진술을 요구할 수 있다.
