국가정보원직원법 제8조의2(신원조사)

① 원장은 임용 대상자에 대하여 제8조제1항과 관련된 사항과 애국심, 성실성, 신뢰성, 보안성 등을 확인하기 위하여 신원조사를 한다.

② 제1항에 따른 신원조사의 구체적인 범위, 방법, 절차 등은 대통령령으로 정한다.
