긴급복지지원법 제10조(긴급지원의 기간 등)

① 제9조제1항제1호가목에 따른 긴급지원은 3개월간, 같은 호 다목ㆍ라목 및 바목에 따른 긴급지원은 1개월간의 생계유지 등에 필요한 지원으로 한다. 다만, 같은 호 다목ㆍ라목 및 바목에 따른 긴급지원은 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장이 긴급지원대상자의 위기상황이 계속된다고 판단하는 경우에는 1개월씩 두 번의 범위에서 기간을 연장할 수 있다. <개정 2023.6.13>

② 제9조제1항제1호나목에 따른 지원은 위기상황의 원인이 되는 질병 또는 부상을 검사ㆍ치료하기 위한 범위에서 한 번 실시하며, 같은 호 마목에 따른 지원도 한 번 실시한다.

③ 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 지원에도 불구하고 위기상황이 계속되는 경우에는 제12조에 따른 긴급지원심의위원회의 심의를 거쳐 지원을 연장할 수 있다. 이 경우 제9조제1항제1호가목ㆍ라목 및 바목에 따른 지원은 제1항에 따른 지원기간을 합하여 총 6개월을 초과하여서는 아니 되고, 같은 호 다목에 따른 지원은 제1항에 따른 지원기간을 합하여 총 12개월을 초과하여서는 아니 되며, 같은 호 나목에 따른 지원은 제2항에 따른 지원횟수를 합하여 총 두 번, 같은 호 마목에 따른 지원은 제2항에 따른 지원횟수를 합하여 총 네 번을 초과하여서는 아니 된다. <개정 2012.10.22, 2014.12.30>

④ 제3항에 따른 지원연장에 관한 긴급지원심의위원회의 심의 시기 및 절차는 보건복지부령으로 정한다. <개정 2010.1.18>
