병역법 제82조의3(병역명문가 선정 등)

① 병무청장은 3대(1대부터 3대까지의 직계비속 남성)가 모두 대통령령으로 정하는 현역복무 등을 성실히 마친 가문을 병역명문가로 선정할 수 있다. 다만, 3대째 가족 중 남성이 없고 「군인사법」 제7조에 따른 군 의무복무기간을 마친 여성이 있는 가문의 경우를 포함한다.

② 병무청장은 제1항에 따른 병역명문가 선정대상 가문에 병역판정검사의 기피 등 대통령령으로 정하는 사항에 해당하는 사람이 있는 경우에는 병역명문가 선정에서 제외하며, 이미 병역명문가로 선정된 가문에 대해서는 그 선정을 취소할 수 있다.
