새만금사업 추진 및 지원에 관한 특별법 제6조(기본계획의 수립 등)

① 제34조에 따른 새만금개발청의 장(이하 "새만금청장"이라 한다)은 새만금사업을 효과적으로 추진하기 위하여 기본계획을 수립하여야 하며, 사회적ㆍ경제적 여건변화 등 필요에 따라 기본계획을 변경할 수 있다. <개정 2015.8.11>

② 기본계획에는 다음 각 호의 사항이 포함되어야 한다.

③ 새만금청장은 제1항에 따라 기본계획을 수립하거나 변경하려는 때에는 관계 행정기관의 장과 협의한 후 제33조제1항에 따른 새만금위원회(이하 "새만금위원회"라 한다)의 심의를 거쳐야 한다. 다만, 대통령령으로 정하는 경미한 사항의 변경은 그러하지 아니한다. <개정 2015.8.11>

④ 전북특별자치도지사는 기본계획에 대한 사항을 새만금청장에게 제안할 수 있다. 이 경우 전북특별자치도지사는 관할 지방자치단체의 장과 협의하여야 하며, 새만금청장은 기본계획을 수립하거나 변경하려는 때에는 이를 반영할 수 있다. <개정 2015.8.11, 2022.12.27, 2023.12.26>
