Special Act on the Safety and Maintenance of Facilities, Article 7 (Types of Facilities)
시설물의 종류는 다음 각 호와 같다.
The types of facilities are as follows:
1. 제1종시설물: 공중의 이용편의와 안전을 도모하기 위하여 특별히 관리할 필요가 있거나 구조상 안전 및 유지관리에 고도의 기술이 필요한 대규모 시설물로서 다음 각 목의 어느 하나에 해당하는 시설물 등 대통령령으로 정하는 시설물
1. Class 1 facilities: Large-scale facilities that need special management to promote the convenience and safety of public use or require advanced technology for structural safety and maintenance, prescribed by Presidential Decree, including facilities falling under any of the following:
가. 고속철도 교량, 연장 500미터 이상의 도로 및 철도 교량
(a) High-speed railway bridges, and road and railway bridges with a length of at least 500 meters;
나. 고속철도 및 도시철도 터널, 연장 1000미터 이상의 도로 및 철도 터널
(b) High-speed railway and urban railway tunnels, and road and railway tunnels with a length of at least 1,000 meters;
다. 갑문시설 및 연장 1000미터 이상의 방파제
(c) Lock facilities and breakwaters with a length of at least 1,000 meters;
라. 다목적댐, 발전용댐, 홍수전용댐 및 총저수용량 1천만톤 이상의 용수전용댐
(d) Multipurpose dams, hydroelectric dams, flood control dams, and water supply dams with a total storage capacity of at least 10 million tons;
마. 21층 이상 또는 연면적 5만제곱미터 이상의 건축물
(e) Buildings with at least 21 stories or a total floor area of at least 50,000 square meters;
바. 하구둑, 포용저수량 8천만톤 이상의 방조제
(f) Estuary banks, and sea dikes with a storage capacity of at least 80 million tons;
사. 광역상수도, 공업용수도, 1일 공급능력 3만톤 이상의 지방상수도
(g) Regional waterworks, industrial waterworks, and local waterworks with a daily supply capacity of at least 30,000 tons;
2. 제2종시설물: 제1종시설물 외에 사회기반시설 등 재난이 발생할 위험이 높거나 재난을 예방하기 위하여 계속적으로 관리할 필요가 있는 시설물로서 다음 각 목의 어느 하나에 해당하는 시설물 등 대통령령으로 정하는 시설물
2. Class 2 facilities: Facilities other than Class 1 facilities, such as social infrastructure, that have a high risk of disaster or need continuous management to prevent disasters, prescribed by Presidential Decree, including facilities falling under any of the following:
가. 연장 100미터 이상의 도로 및 철도 교량
(a) Road and railway bridges with a length of at least 100 meters;
나. 고속국도, 일반국도, 특별시도 및 광역시도 도로터널 및 특별시 또는 광역시에 있는 철도터널
(b) Road tunnels of expressways, national highways, and roads of Special Metropolitan City and Metropolitan Cities, and railway tunnels located in a Special Metropolitan City or Metropolitan City;
다. 연장 500미터 이상의 방파제
(c) Breakwaters with a length of at least 500 meters;
라. 지방상수도 전용댐 및 총저수용량 1백만톤 이상의 용수전용댐
(d) Dams exclusively for local waterworks, and water supply dams with a total storage capacity of at least 1 million tons;
마. 16층 이상 또는 연면적 3만제곱미터 이상의 건축물
(e) Buildings with at least 16 stories or a total floor area of at least 30,000 square meters;
바. 포용저수량 1천만톤 이상의 방조제
(f) Sea dikes with a storage capacity of at least 10 million tons;
사. 1일 공급능력 3만톤 미만의 지방상수도
(g) Local waterworks with a daily supply capacity of less than 30,000 tons;
3. 제3종시설물: 제1종시설물 및 제2종시설물 외에 안전관리가 필요한 소규모 시설물로서 제8조에 따라 지정ㆍ고시된 시설물
3. Class 3 facilities: Small-scale facilities other than Class 1 and Class 2 facilities that require safety management and are designated and publicly notified under Article 8.
