위치정보의 보호 및 이용 등에 관한 법률 제35조의2(한국위치정보산업협회)

① 위치정보사업 및 위치정보기반서비스사업과 관련된 사업을 경영하는 자는 위치정보산업의 발전을 위하여 방송미디어통신위원회의 인가를 받아 한국위치정보산업협회(이하 이 조에서 "협회"라 한다)를 설립할 수 있다. <개정 2025.10.1>

(1) Persons퍼슨즈 engaged엔게이지드 in인 businesses비즈너시즈 related^r릴레이티드 to투 location로케이션 information인^f퍼메이션 businesses비즈너시즈 and앤드 location-based로케이션-베이스트 service서^v비스 businesses비즈너시즈 may메이 establish이스태블리시 the^ð더 Korea코^r리아 Location로케이션 Information인^f퍼메이션 Industry인더스트^r리 Association어소우시에이션 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 the^ð디 "Association"어소우시에이션 in인 this^ð디스 Article)아터클 with위^ð드 authorization오^θ써^r러제이션 from^f프^r럼 the^ð더 Broadcasting,브^r로드캐스팅 Media미디아 and앤드 Communications커뮤너케이션즈 Commission,커미션 for^f포 the^ð더 development디^v벨럽먼트 of어^v브 the^ð더 location로케이션 information인^f퍼메이션 industry.인더스트^r리

② 협회는 법인으로 한다.

(2) The^ð디 Association어소우시에이션 shall섈 be비 a어 corporation.코퍼^r레이션

③ 협회에 관하여 이 법에서 정한 것을 제외하고는 「민법」 중 사단법인에 관한 규정을 준용한다.

(3) Except익셉트 as애즈 provided프^r러^v바이디드 in인 this^ð디스 Act,액트 the^ð더 provisions프^r러^v비전즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 Civil시^v블 Act액트 concerning컨서닝 incorporated인코퍼^r레이티드 associations어소우시에이션즈 shall섈 apply어플라이 mutatis뮤타티즈 mutandis뮤탠디즈 to투 the^ð디 Association.어소우시에이션

④ 정부는 협회의 사업수행을 위하여 예산의 범위에서 필요한 지원을 할 수 있다.

(4) The^ð더 Government거^v버먼트 may메이 provide프^r러^v바이드 necessary네서세^r리 support서포트 within위^ð딘 the^ð더 limits리멋츠 of어^v브 the^ð더 budget버짓 for^f포 the^ð디 Association어소우시에이션 to투 carry캐^r리 out아웃 its잇츠 projects.프^r라젝츠

⑤ 협회의 인가 절차, 사업 및 감독 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
