의료급여법 제16조(의료급여의 변경)

① 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 수급권자의 소득, 재산상황, 근로능력 등이 변동되었을 때에는 직권으로 또는 수급권자나 그 친족, 그 밖의 관계인의 신청을 받아 의료급여의 내용 등을 변경할 수 있다.

② 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 제1항에 따라 의료급여의 내용 등을 변경하였을 때에는 서면으로 그 이유를 밝혀 수급권자에게 알려야 한다.
