재난 및 안전관리 기본법 제17조의3(대책지원본부)

① 행정안전부장관은 수습본부 또는 지역대책본부의 재난상황의 관리와 재난 수습 등을 효율적으로 지원하기 위하여 필요한 경우에는 대책지원본부를 둘 수 있다.

② 대책지원본부의 장(이하 "대책지원본부장"이라 한다)은 행정안전부 소속 공무원 중에서 행정안전부장관이 지명하는 사람이 된다.

③ 대책지원본부장은 재난 수습 등을 효율적으로 지원하기 위하여 필요하면 관계 재난관리책임기관의 장에게 행정상 및 재정상의 조치, 소속 직원의 파견, 그 밖에 필요한 지원을 요청할 수 있다.

④ 대책지원본부의 구성과 운영 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
