궤도운송법 제11조(휴지 또는 폐지)

① 궤도사업자 또는 전용궤도운영자(제5조제1항 단서에 따라 신고를 한 전용궤도운영자는 제외한다. 이하 이 조에서 같다)가 궤도사업의 경영 또는 전용궤도의 운영의 전부 또는 일부를 휴지 또는 폐지하려는 경우에는 국토교통부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장 또는 특별시장ㆍ광역시장에게 미리 신고하여야 하며, 신고된 휴지기간을 변경하려는 경우에도 또한 같다. 다만, 궤도시설의 파괴, 그 밖의 부득이한 사유가 있어 휴지 또는 폐지하게 된 경우에는 휴지 또는 폐지하는 날부터 10일 이내에 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>

② 제1항에 따른 휴지기간은 1년을 초과할 수 없다. 다만, 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장 또는 특별시장ㆍ광역시장이 인정하는 부득이한 사유가 있는 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다.

③ 궤도사업자 또는 전용궤도운영자는 제1항에 따른 휴지 또는 폐지를 하려는 경우에는 미리 휴지 또는 폐지하려는 내용과 그 기간 등을 정거장, 영업소, 그 밖에 일반 공중이 보기 쉬운 곳에 게시하여야 한다.
