담배의 유해성 관리에 관한 법률 시행령 제7조(정책위원회의 운영)

① 법 제9조제3항에 따른 정책위원회의 위원장(이하 "위원장"이라 한다)은 각자 정책위원회를 대표하며, 정책위원회의 업무를 총괄한다.

② 위원장은 공동으로 정책위원회의 회의를 소집하고, 교대로 그 회의의 의장이 된다. 다만, 위원장이 서로 협의하는 경우에는 공동으로 의장이 될 수 있다.

(2) The^ð더 chairpersons체어퍼슨즈 shall섈 jointly조인틀리 convene컨^v빈 meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 Policy팔러시 Committee커미티 and앤드 alternately올터너틀리 serve서^v브 as애즈 chair체어 of어^v브 the^ð더 meetings.미팅즈 However,하우에^v버 where웨어 the^ð더 chairpersons체어퍼슨즈 consult컨설트 with위^ð드 each이치 other,어^ð더 they^ð데이 may메이 jointly조인틀리 serve서^v브 as애즈 chair.체어

③ 위원장 모두가 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 위원장이 서로 협의하여 미리 지명한 위원이 그 직무를 대행한다.

④ 정책위원회의 회의는 위원장이 공동으로 필요하다고 인정할 때 또는 위원 3분의 1 이상이 요구할 때 소집한다.

(4) Meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 Policy팔러시 Committee커미티 shall섈 be비 convened컨^v빈드 when웬 the^ð더 chairpersons체어퍼슨즈 jointly조인틀리 deem딤 it잇 necessary네서세^r리 or오 when웬 at앳 least리스트 one원 third^θ써드 of어^v브 the^ð더 members멤버즈 so소우 request.^r리퀘스트

⑤ 위원장은 회의 개최 7일 전까지 회의 일정과 안건 등을 위원에게 알려야 한다. 다만, 긴급한 경우이거나 안건의 내용이 공개되면 공공의 이익을 해칠 우려가 있는 경우에는 그렇지 않다.

⑥ 정책위원회의 회의는 재적위원 과반수의 출석으로 개의(開議)하고, 출석위원 과반수의 찬성으로 의결한다.

(6) Meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 Policy팔러시 Committee커미티 shall섈 be비 opened오우픈드 with위^ð드 the^ð디 attendance어텐든스 of어^v브 a어 majority머조^r러티 of어^v브 the^ð디 incumbent인컴번트 members멤버즈 and앤드 resolutions^r레절루션즈 shall섈 be비 adopted어답티드 with위^ð드 the^ð더 concurrence컨커^r런스 of어^v브 a어 majority머조^r러티 of어^v브 the^ð더 members멤버즈 present.프^r레전트

⑦ 위원장은 심의에 필요한 경우에는 해당 안건과 관련이 있는 관계인 또는 관련 분야 전문가를 출석시켜 그 의견을 들을 수 있다.

⑧ 정책위원회의 효율적 운영 및 지원을 위하여 간사 2명을 두며, 간사는 보건복지부 및 식품의약품안전처에서 관련 업무를 담당하는 과장급 공무원 중에서 해당 기관의 장이 각각 1명씩 지명한다.
