대통령기록물 관리에 관한 법률 시행령 제12조(대통령기록관의 운영 사항 등)

①대통령기록관의 장은 법 제24조제2항에 따라 전시관ㆍ도서관 및 연구지원센터 등을 두는 경우에는 다양한 전시ㆍ교육프로그램을 운영하고, 국내외 대통령기록물 관리와 관련된 기관과의 교류를 통하여 대통령기록물을 연구ㆍ활용하거나 이를 지원할 수 있다.

②대통령기록관의 장은 법 제11조제1항에 따라 대통령기록물을 이관 받아 서고에 배치할 때에는 대통령별, 기록물 형태별, 출처별 등으로 구분하여 배치하여야 한다.

③대통령기록관의 장은 제1항에 따라 전시관 등을 운영하는 경우에는 이관ㆍ수집 및 기증된 전직 대통령 기록물의 수량에 따라 전시 공간 등을 달리 할 수 있다.

④대통령기록관의 장은 대통령지정기록물이 전자적으로 생산된 경우에는 별도의 저장장소에서, 비전자적으로 생산된 경우에는 별도의 전용서고 및 시설 등에서 보존ㆍ관리하여야 한다.

⑤대통령기록관의 장은 전문위원회가 개최되는 경우에는 대통령기록관의 주요 업무현황에 대하여 전문위원회에 보고하여야 한다. <개정 2010.2.4>

⑥대통령기록관의 장은 대통령기록관을 효율적으로 운영하기 위한 세부운영계획을 수립ㆍ시행하여야 한다.
