Enforcement Rule of the Special Act on Safety of Children's Products, Article 12 (Designation of Accident Investigation Institutions, etc.)

① 국가기술표준원장은 법 제14조제2항에 따라 어린이제품사고의 경위 및 원인 등을 조사하기 위하여 다음 각 호의 기관을 사고조사기관(이하 이 조에서 "사고조사기관"이라 한다)으로 지정할 수 있다. 이 경우 사고조사기관은 발생한 어린이제품사고에 전문성이 있고, 사업자로부터 재정적인 지원을 받지 아니하는 등 조사 업무 수행에 관하여 독립성을 확보한 기관이어야 한다.
