의무경찰대 설치 및 운영에 관한 법률 시행령 제57조의2(치료비 지급을 위한 보험가입 등)

① 경찰청장 또는 해양경찰청장은 의무경찰이 복무기간 동안 교육훈련 또는 공무수행 등으로 질병에 걸리거나 부상을 입은 경우 치료비 지급 등 적절한 치료를 지원하기 위하여 보험에 가입할 수 있다.

② 경찰청장 또는 해양경찰청장은 제1항에 따라 수행하는 다음 각 호의 업무를 「경찰공제회법」에 따른 경찰공제회에 위탁한다.

③ 경찰청장 또는 해양경찰청장(제2항에 따라 경찰청장 또는 해양경찰청장의 업무를 위탁받은 자를 포함한다)은 제1항에 따른 보험 가입 등을 위하여 병무청장에게 해당 의무경찰의 성명, 주민등록번호, 연락처, 병적번호, 입영일자 등 필요한 자료의 제공을 요청할 수 있다.

④ 제1항부터 제3항까지에서 규정한 사항 외에 보험 가입 등에 필요한 사항은 경찰청장 또는 해양경찰청장이 정한다.
