재외공관주재관 임용령 제13조(교육훈련)

① 주재관으로 선발된 사람은 재외공관에 부임하기 전에 외교ㆍ통상ㆍ영사 등 업무 수행과 관련된 직무교육, 소양교육, 외국어 교육 등 재외공관 근무를 위한 교육훈련을 받아야 한다. 다만, 외교부장관이 정하는 사유에 해당하는 경우에는 교육훈련의 전부 또는 일부를 면제할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23>

② 외교부장관은 정당한 사유 없이 제1항에 따른 교육훈련을 이수하지 않거나 외교부장관이 정하는 이수 기준을 충족하지 못한 주재관에 대해서는 임용 또는 임용제청을 취소할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23>
