지방자치법 제206조(경비의 부담)

① 특별지방자치단체의 운영 및 사무처리에 필요한 경비는 구성 지방자치단체의 인구, 사무처리의 수혜범위 등을 고려하여 규약으로 정하는 바에 따라 구성 지방자치단체가 분담한다.

② 구성 지방자치단체는 제1항의 경비에 대하여 특별회계를 설치하여 운영하여야 한다.

③ 국가 또는 시ㆍ도가 사무를 위임하는 경우에는 사무를 위임한 국가 또는 시ㆍ도가 그 사무를 수행하는 데 필요한 경비를 부담하여야 한다. <개정 2023.9.14>
