철도의 건설 및 철도시설 유지관리에 관한 법률 제20조(비용부담의 원칙)

① 철도건설에 관한 비용은 이 법 또는 다른 법률에 특별한 규정이 있는 경우를 제외하고는 일반철도는 국고 부담으로 하고, 고속철도는 국고와 사업시행자 간의 분담으로 한다.

② 제1항에 따른 고속철도건설 비용에 대한 국고와 사업시행자 간의 분담 비율은 대통령령으로 정한다.
