형의 집행 및 수용자의 처우에 관한 법률 시행규칙 제176조(보호의자의 사용방법)

① 보호의자는 별표 14의 방법으로 사용하며, 다른 보호장비로는 법 제97조제1항제2호부터 제4호까지의 규정의 어느 하나에 해당하는 행위를 방지하기 어려운 특별한 사정이 있는 경우에만 사용하여야 한다.

② 보호의자는 제184조제2항에 따라 그 사용을 일시 중지하거나 완화하는 경우를 포함하여 8시간을 초과하여 사용할 수 없으며, 사용 중지 후 4시간이 경과하지 아니하면 다시 사용할 수 없다. <개정 2013.4.16>
