화학물질관리법 시행령 제18조(화학사고 조사단)

① 법 제45조제2항에 따른 화학사고 조사단(이하 "화학사고 조사단"이라 한다)은 단장을 포함한 20명 이내의 민간 전문가와 관계 기관의 공무원으로 구성한다.

② 기후에너지환경부장관은 화학사고의 유형, 피해 규모 및 현지 여건을 고려하여 화학사고 조사단의 구성원, 조사시기와 기간 등을 정한다. <개정 2025.10.1>

(2) The^ð더 Minister미너스터 of어^v브 Climate,클라이멋 Energy에너지 and앤드 Environment인^v바이^r런먼트 shall섈 determine더터먼 the^ð더 members멤버즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 chemical케머클 accident액서던트 investigation인^v베스터게이션 team팀 and앤드 the^ð더 timing타이밍 and앤드 duration두^r레이션 of어^v브 the^ð디 investigation,인^v베스터게이션 in인 consideration컨시더^r레이션 of어^v브 the^ð더 type타이프 of어^v브 chemical케머클 accident,액서던트 the^ð더 scale스케일 of어^v브 damage,대머지 and앤드 local로우클 conditions.컨디션즈

③ 화학사고 조사단의 단장은 화학사고 조사단에 관한 사무를 총괄하고, 소속된 구성원을 지휘ㆍ감독한다.

(3) The^ð더 leader리더 of어^v브 the^ð더 chemical케머클 accident액서던트 investigation인^v베스터게이션 team팀 shall섈 oversee오우^v버시 the^ð디 affairs어^f페어즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 team팀 and앤드 direct더^r렉트 and앤드 supervise수퍼^v바이즈 its잇츠 members.멤버즈

④ 기후에너지환경부장관은 화학사고 조사단의 단장과 구성원에 대해서는 예산의 범위에서 필요한 수당과 여비를 지급할 수 있다. 다만, 공무원인 단장 또는 구성원이 그 소관 업무와 관련하여 화학사고 조사단의 활동에 참여한 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다. <개정 2025.10.1>

⑤ 화학사고 조사단은 조사활동에 필요한 자료를 관계 기관의 장에게 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청을 받은 관계기관의 장은 특별한 사유가 없는 한 이에 협조하여야 한다.

⑥ 화학사고 조사단이 법 제45조제1항에 따른 영향조사를 실시한 경우에는 그 조사결과를 지체 없이 기후에너지환경부장관에게 보고하여야 한다. <개정 2025.10.1>
