가족관계의 등록 등에 관한 법률 제23조(신고방법)

① 신고는 서면이나 말로 할 수 있다.

② 신고로 인하여 효력이 발생하는 등록사건에 관하여 신고사건 본인이 시ㆍ읍ㆍ면에 출석하지 아니하는 경우에는 신고사건 본인의 주민등록증(모바일 주민등록증을 포함한다)ㆍ운전면허증ㆍ여권, 그 밖에 대법원규칙으로 정하는 신분증명서(이하 이 항에서 "신분증명서"라 한다)를 제시하거나 신고서에 신고사건 본인의 인감증명서를 첨부하여야 한다. 이 경우 본인의 신분증명서를 제시하지 아니하거나 본인의 인감증명서를 첨부하지 아니한 때에는 신고서를 수리하여서는 아니 된다. <개정 2023.12.26>
