가족관계의 등록 등에 관한 법률 제23조의2(전자문서를 이용한 신고)

① 제23조에도 불구하고 대법원규칙으로 정하는 등록에 관한 신고는 전산정보처리조직을 이용하여 전자문서로 할 수 있다. <개정 2020.2.4>

② 제1항에 따른 신고는 신고사건 본인의 등록기준지 시ㆍ읍ㆍ면의 장이 처리한다. 다만, 신고사건 본인의 등록기준지가 없는 경우에는 신고인의 주소지 시ㆍ읍ㆍ면의 장이 처리하고, 재외국민에 관한 신고인 경우에는 재외국민 가족관계등록사무소의 가족관계등록관이 처리하며, 외국인에 관한 신고인 경우에는 그 거주지 시ㆍ읍ㆍ면의 장이 처리한다. <개정 2015.2.3>

③ 제2항에도 불구하고 제1항에 따른 신고는 신고 처리의 편의를 위하여 대법원규칙으로 정하는 바에 따라 다른 시ㆍ읍ㆍ면의 장이 처리할 수 있다. <신설 2020.2.4>
