방송법 제50조의2(사장후보국민추천위원회 설치 등)

① 이사회에 공사의 사장후보자를 추천하기 위한 위원회(이하 "사장후보국민추천위원회"라 한다)를 둔다.

② 사장후보국민추천위원회는 100명 이상의 위원으로 구성하되, 위원의 구성은 전체 인구의 성별ㆍ연령별ㆍ지역별 분포를 대표할 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 이 경우 「공직선거법」 제8조의9에 따라 등록된 여론조사 기관 중에서 방송미디어통신위원회규칙으로 정하는 기준을 충족하는 기관에 사장후보국민추천위원회 구성 업무를 의뢰할 수 있다. <개정 2025.10.1>

③ 이사회는 사장후보국민추천위원회가 공정하게 구성되도록 하여야 하며, 사장후보국민추천위원회가 독립적이고 공정하게 운영되도록 보장하여야 한다.

(3) The^ð더 board보드 of어^v브 directors더^r렉터즈 shall섈 ensure엔슈어 that^ð댓 the^ð더 National내셔늘 Recommendation^r레커먼데이션 Committee커미티 for^f포 President프^r레저덴트 Candidates캔더데잇츠 is이즈 composed컴포우즈드 fairly,^f페어리 and앤드 shall섈 guarantee게^r런티 that^ð댓 it잇 operates아퍼^r레잇츠 independently인디펜던틀리 and앤드 fairly.^f페어리

④ 이사회는 사장후보국민추천위원회가 제2항 및 제3항에 따라 구성되고 운영될 수 있도록 세부기준을 마련하여야 한다.

(4) The^ð더 board보드 of어^v브 directors더^r렉터즈 shall섈 prepare프^r리페어 detailed디테일드 criteria크^r라이티^r리아 so소우 that^ð댓 the^ð더 National내셔늘 Recommendation^r레커먼데이션 Committee커미티 for^f포 President프^r레저덴트 Candidates캔더데잇츠 can캔 be비 composed컴포우즈드 and앤드 operated아퍼^r레이티드 in인 accordance어코든스 with위^ð드 paragraphs패^r러그^r래^f프스 (2) and앤드 (3).

⑤ 사장후보국민추천위원회는 사장후보자 경영계획발표, 면접, 숙의토론 과정을 거쳐 3명 이하의 복수 후보자를 이사회에 추천하여야 한다.

(5) The^ð더 National내셔늘 Recommendation^r레커먼데이션 Committee커미티 for^f포 President프^r레저덴트 Candidates캔더데잇츠 shall섈 recommend^r레커멘드 to투 the^ð더 board보드 of어^v브 directors더^r렉터즈 multiple멀터플 candidates,캔더데잇츠 not낫 more모 than^ð댄 three,^θ쓰^r리 after애^f프터 going고우잉 through^θ쓰^r루 presentations프^r레전테이션즈 of어^v브 management매너지먼트 plans플랜즈 by바이 the^ð더 president프^r레저덴트 candidates,캔더데잇츠 interviews,인터^v뷰즈 and앤드 deliberative딜리버^r레이티^v브 discussions.디스커션즈

⑥ 제5항에 따른 활동을 포함한 사장후보국민추천위원회의 회의는 위원 100명 이상의 재석으로 개의한다.

(6) Meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 National내셔늘 Recommendation^r레커먼데이션 Committee커미티 for^f포 President프^r레저덴트 Candidates,캔더데잇츠 including인클루딩 the^ð디 activities액티^v버티즈 under언더 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (5), shall섈 be비 opened오우픈드 with위^ð드 at앳 least리스트 100 members멤버즈 present.프^r레전트

⑦ 이사회는 특별한 사유가 없으면 사장의 임기만료 90일 전까지 사장후보국민추천위원회를 구성하여야 한다.

⑧ 제1항부터 제7항까지에서 규정한 사항 외에 사장후보국민추천위원회의 구성과 운영 및 사장후보자 추천 등에 필요한 사항은 이사회가 정한다.
