여권법 제23조(여권전자인증체계의 구축)

① 외교부장관은 여권 등의 위조나 변조를 방지하고 여권 등이 국제적으로 통용될 수 있도록 하기 위하여 국제민간항공기구에서 정하는 기준에 따라 전자적 방법으로 처리된 여권 등의 발급과 수록사항의 확인 등을 위한 정보체계(이하 "여권전자인증체계"라 한다)를 구축하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>
