자동차손해배상 보장법 제51조(통고처분)

① 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장 또는 경찰서장은 범칙자로 인정되는 자에게는 그 이유를 분명하게 밝힌 범칙금 납부통고서로 범칙금을 낼 것을 통고할 수 있다. 다만, 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 자에게는 그러하지 아니하다. <개정 2012.2.22>

② 제1항에 따라 통고할 범칙금의 액수는 차종과 위반 정도에 따라 제46조제3항에 따른 벌금액의 범위에서 대통령령으로 정한다. <개정 2021.7.27>
