전통사찰의 보존 및 지원에 관한 법률 시행령 제4조(전통사찰의 등록 절차)

①법 제4조제3항에 따른 통지를 받은 사찰의 주지는 그 통지를 받은 날부터 30일 이내에 전통사찰등록 신청서에 다음 각 호의 서류를 첨부하여 관할 시ㆍ도지사에게 제출하여야 한다. <개정 2009.12.22, 2012.8.13, 2015.12.30, 2019.7.2>

②시ㆍ도지사는 제1항에 따른 신청을 받으면 지체 없이 이를 등록한 후 신청인에게 전통사찰등록증을 발급하고, 등록 사실을 고시하여야 한다.

③전통사찰의 주지는 제1항에 따른 등록 사항 중 변경이 있는 경우에는 지체 없이 변경등록 신청서에 변경된 사항을 증명하는 서류를 첨부하여 관할 시ㆍ도지사에게 제출하여야 한다.

④시ㆍ도지사는 제1항과 제3항에 따른 등록 사항과 변경등록 사항을 확인하기 위하여 필요하면 해당 사찰의 주지나 사찰이 속한 단체의 대표자에게 필요한 서류를 제출하도록 할 수 있다. <개정 2012.8.13>
