평생교육법 제24조(평생교육사)

1. 「고등교육법」 제2조에 따른 학교(이하 "대학"이라 한다) 또는 이와 같은 수준 이상의 학력이 있다고 인정되는 기관에서 교육부령으로 정하는 평생교육 관련 교과목을 일정 학점 이상 이수하고 학위를 취득한 사람

2. 「학점인정 등에 관한 법률」 제3조제1항에 따라 평가인정을 받은 학습과정을 운영하는 교육훈련기관(이하 "학점은행기관"이라 한다)에서 교육부령으로 정하는 평생교육 관련 교과목을 일정 학점 이상 이수하고 학위를 취득한 사람

3. 대학을 졸업한 사람 또는 이와 같은 수준 이상의 학력이 있다고 인정되는 사람으로서 대학 또는 이와 같은 수준 이상의 학력이 있다고 인정되는 기관, 제25조에 따른 평생교육사 양성기관, 학점은행기관에서 교육부령으로 정하는 평생교육 관련 교과목을 일정 학점 이상 이수한 사람

4. 그 밖에 대통령령으로 정하는 자격요건을 갖춘 사람

1. 제24조의2에 따라 자격이 취소된 후 그 자격이 취소된 날부터 3년이 지나지 아니한 사람(제28조제2항제1호에 해당하여 자격이 취소된 경우는 제외한다)
