호스피스ㆍ완화의료 및 임종과정에 있는 환자의 연명의료결정에 관한 법률 제19조(연명의료중단등결정의 이행 등)

① 담당의사는 제15조 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 환자에 대하여 즉시 연명의료중단등결정을 이행하여야 한다.

(1) The^ð디 attending어텐딩 physician^f퍼지션 shall섈 immediately이미디어틀리 implement임플러먼트 a어 decision디시전 to투 withhold위^θ스호울드 or오 withdraw위^ð드드^r로 life-sustaining라이^f프-서스테이닝 treatment트^r릿먼트 for^f포 a어 patient페이션트 who후 falls^f폴즈 under언더 any에니 subparagraph서브패^r러그^r래^f프 of어^v브 Article아터클 15.

② 연명의료중단등결정 이행 시 통증 완화를 위한 의료행위와 영양분 공급, 물 공급, 산소의 단순 공급은 시행하지 아니하거나 중단되어서는 아니 된다.

(2) When웬 a어 decision디시전 to투 withhold위^θ스호울드 or오 withdraw위^ð드드^r로 life-sustaining라이^f프-서스테이닝 treatment트^r릿먼트 is이즈 implemented,임플러멘티드 medical메더클 care케어 for^f포 pain페인 relief,^r릴리^f프 supply서플라이 of어^v브 nutrition,누트^r리션 supply서플라이 of어^v브 water,워터 and앤드 simple심플 supply서플라이 of어^v브 oxygen악서전 shall섈 not낫 be비 withheld위^θ스헬드 or오 stopped.스탑트

③ 담당의사가 연명의료중단등결정의 이행을 거부할 때에는 해당 의료기관의 장은 윤리위원회의 심의를 거쳐 담당의사를 교체하여야 한다. 이 경우 의료기관의 장은 연명의료중단등결정의 이행 거부를 이유로 담당의사에게 해고나 그 밖에 불리한 처우를 하여서는 아니 된다.

(3) If이^f프 the^ð디 attending어텐딩 physician^f퍼지션 refuses^r러^f퓨지즈 to투 implement임플러먼트 a어 decision디시전 to투 withhold위^θ스호울드 or오 withdraw위^ð드드^r로 life-sustaining라이^f프-서스테이닝 treatment,트^r릿먼트 the^ð더 head헤드 of어^v브 the^ð더 medical메더클 institution인스티투션 shall섈 replace^r리플레이스 the^ð디 attending어텐딩 physician^f퍼지션 after애^f프터 deliberation딜리버^r레이션 by바이 the^ð디 ethics에^θ씩스 committee.커미티 In인 this^ð디스 case,케이스 the^ð더 head헤드 of어^v브 the^ð더 medical메더클 institution인스티투션 shall섈 not낫 dismiss디스미스 or오 otherwise어^ð더와이즈 treat트^r릿 the^ð디 attending어텐딩 physician^f퍼지션 unfavorably언^f페이^v버^r러블리 on안 the^ð더 ground그^r라운드 that^ð댓 he히 or오 she쉬 refused^r러^f퓨즈드 to투 implement임플러먼트 the^ð더 decision.디시전

④ 담당의사는 연명의료중단등결정을 이행하는 경우 그 과정 및 결과를 기록(전자문서로 된 기록을 포함한다)하여야 한다. <개정 2018.3.27>

(4) When웬 implementing임플러멘팅 a어 decision디시전 to투 withhold위^θ스호울드 or오 withdraw위^ð드드^r로 life-sustaining라이^f프-서스테이닝 treatment,트^r릿먼트 the^ð디 attending어텐딩 physician^f퍼지션 shall섈 record^r러코드 the^ð더 process프^r라세스 and앤드 result^r리절트 (including인클루딩 a어 record^r러코드 in인 the^ð더 form^f폼 of어^v브 an앤 electronic일렉트^r라닉 document).다큐멘트

⑤ 의료기관의 장은 제1항에 따라 연명의료중단등결정을 이행하는 경우 그 결과를 지체 없이 보건복지부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 관리기관의 장에게 통보하여야 한다.
