국회법 제122조의3(긴급현안질문)

① 의원은 20명 이상의 찬성으로 회기 중 현안이 되고 있는 중요한 사항을 대상으로 정부에 대하여 질문(이하 이 조에서 "긴급현안질문"이라 한다)을 할 것을 의장에게 요구할 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따라 긴급현안질문을 요구하는 의원은 그 이유와 질문 요지 및 출석을 요구하는 국무총리 또는 국무위원을 적은 질문요구서를 본회의 개의 24시간 전까지 의장에게 제출하여야 한다.

③ 의장은 질문요구서를 접수하였을 때에는 긴급현안질문 실시 여부와 의사일정을 국회운영위원회와 협의하여 정한다. 다만, 의장은 필요한 경우 본회의에서 긴급현안질문 실시 여부를 표결에 부쳐 정할 수 있다.

④ 제3항에 따른 의장의 결정 또는 본회의의 의결이 있었을 때에는 해당 국무총리 또는 국무위원에 대한 출석 요구의 의결이 있는 것으로 본다.

⑤ 긴급현안질문 시간은 총 120분으로 한다. 다만, 의장은 각 교섭단체 대표의원과 협의하여 시간을 연장할 수 있다.

⑥ 긴급현안질문을 할 때 의원의 질문시간은 10분을 초과할 수 없다. 다만, 보충질문은 5분을 초과할 수 없다.

⑦ 긴급현안질문의 절차 등에 관하여 이 조에서 정한 것을 제외하고는 제122조의2를 준용한다.
