2. 기업부설연구소등은 하나의 주소지에 둘 것. 다만, 연구의 원활한 수행을 위하여 필요한 경우에는 다음 각 목의 요건을 갖추어 기업부설연구소등의 주소지를 주소재지와 부소재지로 구분하여 2개 이상의 장소에 둘 수 있다.

3. 기업부설연구소등의 연구전담요원 및 연구보조원은 소속된 기업부설연구소등의 연구시설에서 근무할 것. 다만, 다음 각 목의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에는 과학기술정보통신부장관에게 신고 후 자택 등 해당 기업부설연구소등의 연구시설이 아닌 장소에서 근무할 수 있다.
