기초연금법 제18조(신고)

① 기초연금 수급자는 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 30일 이내에 그 사실을 특별자치시장ㆍ특별자치도지사ㆍ시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장에게 신고하여야 한다. 다만, 제2호(제17조제1호에 해당하는 경우로 한정한다)의 경우에는 「가족관계의 등록 등에 관한 법률」 제85조에 따른 신고의무자가 특별자치시장ㆍ특별자치도지사ㆍ시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장에게 신고하여야 한다.

② 「가족관계의 등록 등에 관한 법률」 제85조에 따른 신고의무자가 같은 법 제84조에 따라 기초연금 수급자의 사망신고를 한 경우에는 제1항 각 호 외의 부분 단서에 따른 신고를 한 것으로 본다. <신설 2016.2.3>
